Physiq is the first body system that uses STEP technology, (sequential, thermal, and electrical pulse) which delivers heat to tissue, and electrical muscle stimulation, (EMS) to stimulate muscle and target stubborn areas, that regular diet and exercise have difficult time addressing

By delivering two energies from each of its’ four applicators, Physiq is designed to maximize results by minimizing treatment time and discomfort. One of the benefits of this device is that a patient can use 2, 3 or 4 applicators at a time to target hard to reach small and large areas.

How does Physiq work?

Physiq targets tissue and muscle with its unique STEP technology, STEP programs are customized sequences of time phases of DPN muscle stimulation, the deep hidden phases from Physiq super Luminescent, diode matrix, (SDM) targets tissue with electrical muscle stimulation. EMS creates muscle contractions to reeducate the muscle in the targeted area(s).

What should I expect before during and after my treatment?

Before your Physiq treatment, if necessary, you will want to shave the target area and increase your water intake prior to this service.

Physiq has four independent applicators that can deliver both DPN and EMS. We may use between 2-4 applicators spaced along the desired area(s) and secure them with bands.

During your treatment, you may feel warmth at the applicator site and you will feel muscle contractions during the EMS phase. Should you feel discomfort? You may use a patient control button which adjusts the energy module, without impacting the effectiveness of the treatment

After your treatment, it is important to massage the area with Physiq body lotion that was designed to complete your body treatments. One bottle of Physiq body lotion will allow you to continue this massage twice daily between treatments.

The area treated may feel warm for a few hours, post treatment. Strenuous exercise and activities, that raise your body temperature, should be avoided for at least 48 hours.

How long is a single treatment?

The length of treatments will depend on the area(s) being treated. The average treatment time is 30 minutes.

Can I treat more than one area in a single session?

Physiq has four applicators, which may be used in sets of two on multiple areas in single sessions. A maximum of three areas may be treated in one day.

How many treatments will I need?

The recommendation is five sessions with each session spaced one week apart. EMS may be used alone to maintain results, after full step sessions. However, everyone is different so it is important for you to discuss with our staff about those areas you’d like to target and your goals.

What makes Physiq a virtually pain-free treatment?

First, the deep penetration of heat and cooling at the application surface allows the skin surface temperature to rise only minimally. Next, the cycling between heat EMS and STEP ensures that optimal temperature is reached and maintained throughout the treatment. Lastly, patients have a control button to make any adjustments for discomfort, without impact of the efficacy of the session.
